BARAKA G. MUGANDA
Director of Youth Ministries
General Conference
Dr. Muganda is a native of Tanzania. He graduated from Solusi College with a BA in Theology in 1973. He then went on to Andrews University and received a Masters in Religion and a Doctorate in Education in 1980 and 1983 respectively.
Dr. Muganda has served the church as an Assistant Union Evangelist, a Field Youth, Education, Sabbath School, and Communication Director, as well as a Union Youth, Education, and Communication Director in Tanzania Union.
Since 1995, Dr. Muganda was elected to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to serve as the World Youth Director.
Dr. Muganda is married to the former Anne Martin. They are the happy parents of three beautiful daughters: Diana, Tanya, and Anita.
To summarize his excitement for the youth of this church in one sentence: he loves the youth of this church and has a burden to see all of them saved in God's Kingdom.
Arne-Kristian Andersen
Born in Northern Norway, Arne-Kristian pastors the Lofoten Adventist Church where he grew up, on an island with 10.000 inhabitants. He is married to Anne Beate and has two daughters, Sara and Nora. Together with the visionary local congregation and Maranatha Volunteers from the US, Finland and Estonia, he has been renovating the local church building, expecting it to be completed soon. He gets energy by spending time with God and family, playing music, being part of the local community and taking hikes in the nature of Lofoten.
Pastor Eddie Hypolite
Pastor Eddie Hypolite is a Londoner by birth, Grenadian by heritage and the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters. He is husband to the gorgeous Yvonne Hypolite and father to the beautiful Rhea Jeanelle Hypolite; He is a pastor, educational consultant, leadership trainer and motivational speaker, who travels internationally, speaking and teaching in the areas of urban evangelism, church planting, life development, youth and street culture. His vocational background was originally in the area of social work. He now serves as the associate youth director for the South England Conference. He and his family live in London.
Miki Jovanovic
Miki Jovanovic was born 1978 in Berlin. He spend his childhood in former Yugoslavia. In his teenage years he came back to Germany. After exciting years on the streets of Berlin he joined the Friedensau University for theological studies. Now he lives with his newborn daughter Lana and his wife Tamara nearby Munich where he works as a Youth Pastor. He is a passionate football player, he loves travelling and he reads a newspaper every day.
Gabriel Monet
Gabriel Monet, after having been pastor in Strasbourg and Poitiers, France, was called to be the youth director of the North French Conference, where he implanted an innovative church in Paris for the young contemporaries: the Church of Hope!
Since 2007, he is professor of Practical Theology at the Collonges Campus, and is interested especially in his research of new church forms. Married and father of three children, he likes nature, sport, and music. His motto is: Crunch your Life!
