Philosophy of Youth Congress

The Philosophy behind the European Youth Congress is threefold. To:

Respect God - Be a witness for Jesus.  In so doing we expect all participants are requested to observe the Seventh-day Adventist lifestyle especially with regard to the abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, drugs and inappropriate sexual behavior.

Respect Others - Please care for the property we are using, including the dormitories, equipment and Congress facilities. Damages or losses to any equipment or property will be charged to the individuals concerned. We would also ask that you respect other participants needs for peace and privacy, especially late in the evenings. Cell phones should be switched off during all general meetings and seminars.

Respect Yourself - The dress code shall be modest and non-suggestive casual wear during the weekday meetings and activities. Sabbath attire is at the discretion of each individual. Remember that we are here to get closer to God and, rather than promoting ourselves, we should aim to be living examples of the best and most uplifting traits of Christianity at all times.
